Thank you Clau Rocha @frog.eyes.toad.heart for creating and facilitating beautiful Collaborative Collage Oracle Deck Workshop as part of AnySquared’s Home Not Home Exhibit & Programming at Agitator Gallery, 3581 W Fullerton!
The workshop encouraged everyone to engage with one another and experience the joy of creating loosely, quickly, and without perfection. Clau guided everyone with prompts through several quick collage exercizes to create cards using a cornucopia collage materials provided. Following the theme of building and destroying, everyone ripped, cut, and manipulated the cards they created. The pieces of cards were swapped between participants and were used to build entirely new cards in an additive process. The activity made space to forge connections with each person as their cards were changed by others.

The workshop was part of AnySquared’s Home Not Home Exhibition which was on display June 24th–July 10th, 2023 and included a full schedule of programming at Agitator Gallery, 3851 W Fullerton, Chicago.
This exhibition is the launch of AnySquared’s Home Not Home Series and Project, which will run through 2024 at various venues in Chicago. Thank you to Agitator Artist Collective for making space and collaborating for this first installment of the series.
