In Terry Gilliam\u2019s \u201c12 Monkeys,\u201d <\/em>by the year 2035, only 1% of the population has survived a lethal virus and humans are forced underground. A convict, (Bruce WIllis), reluctantly volunteers to be sent back in time to 1996, before the unknown virus wipes out five billion people. Unfortunately, the convict gets sent to 1990, six years too early, and is locked up in a mental institution where he meets a psychiatrist (Madeleine Stowe) and an insane son of a virus expert (Brad Pitt). Will he be able to locate the virus before it mutates so scientists can study it?\u00a0 <\/u><\/p>\n
