THE BACKGROUND:<\/b>
\nIn December, a heinous act of art theft struck Cole\u2019s Bar and robbed it of its prized Velvet Lincoln painting. Cut out of its frame, all that was left was an empty shell as a reminder of the lack of respect that made it\u2019s way into Cole\u2019s.<\/p>\n

THE PEOPLE\u2019S RESPONSE:<\/b>
\nTo right this wrong, artists and the community flooded Cole\u2019s with newly created replacement Abe\u2019s!

AB(e)DUCTED!<\/b> Honest Abe Art Show

\nCole\u2019s Bar, 2338 N. Milwaukee<\/b><\/p>\n

Features Abe-inspired Art@Cole\u2019s exhibit<\/b> by local artists and display of actual Abe artifacts.
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

Opening PARTY<\/b>, Sun March 25<\/b>, 8pm-11pm<\/b>: Festivities included exhibit<\/b> and artifacts<\/b>, live historic interpretation, and Abe-centric tunes by Foz the Hook<\/b>. Beards and top hats encouraged at this all-Abe event as we search for a suitable substitute and judge the Best-in-Show. Snacks provided by Chicken Run.<\/i><\/p>\n
