From <i>Against Da Fence<\/i> in <a href=\"https:\/\/anysquared.tumblr.com\/post\/175543996114\/againstdafence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2018<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/anysquared.tumblr.com\/post\/185156928064\/against-da-fence-2019-pop-up-at-project-logan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2019<\/a> to exhibitions, to the giant <a href=\"https:\/\/logansquarist.com\/2016\/09\/24\/dog-park-anniversary-picnic-mural\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Logan Square Dog Park Mural<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/anysquared.tumblr.com\/post\/125378213494\/community-mural-weekend-projecting-outlining\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Project Logan\u2019s community mural<\/a>, Flash has been working with AnySquared projects before we named ourself AnySquared. He is part Chicago\u2019s Legendary <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artisticbombingcrew.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC (Artistic Bombing Crew)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rofchicago.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Renegades of Funk<\/a>. He is a graffiti artist and grew up in Logan Square. Through his generosity and unlimited energy, Flash has organized many graffiti artists on walls across the city.<\/p>\n<p><b>ARTIST BIO<\/b><br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/flashabc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IG: @flash_abc<br \/>Twitter: @flashabc<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FlicksonFlash-216566625026386\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flicks on Flash fb page<\/a> | flashabc@gmail.com<\/p>\n<p>Born in the Humboldt Park neighborhood in 1967 and burned out, and moved to Logan Square in 1972 where I was raised. In 1982, I joined one of the first Graffiti crews in Chicago, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artisticbombingcrew.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Artistic Bombing Crew (ABC)<\/a> and began painting Chicago rooftops bringing New York style Graffiti to the masses between 1982 and 1987. Soon, I became known as \u201cFlash\u201d for my passion and ability to take pictures and document our environment.<\/p>\n<p>On Memorial Day weekend, 2003, over 100 Graffiti artist gathered at 59 &amp; Western for a huge paint reunion. Two years later, 2005, I would become the Moderator for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagograffiti.com\/forums\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chicago Graffiti Forums<\/a>, a site used by schools and universities as a place of reference for their students in learning about the history of Chicago Graffiti.<\/p>\n<p>My graffiti photo collection now has over 30 years of Chicago graffiti and street art. The photos have appeared in the first pages of the Chicago section of <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/7831393-the-history-of-american-graffiti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roger Gaston\u2019s History of American Graffiti<\/a><\/i>, and other publications. One piece is featured in the video game <i>CRACKDOWN 2<\/i> by Ruffhouse for the X-BOX 360.<\/p>\n<p>For the past decade, I have curated <i><a href=\"https:\/\/projectlogan.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Project Logan<\/a><\/i> a permission wall which rotates various artistic styles of graffiti. We were also invited to participate in the inaugural creation of the 606 Chicago Graffiti Garden Arena and curated the <a href=\"https:\/\/oururbantimes.com\/events\/paint-dog-and-flower-or-two-sunday-logan-square-dog-park\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Logan Square Dog Park Mural<\/a>.
