About the Project <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The 1000 Words: Home Not Home Exhibition<\/strong> features artists\u2019 works inspired by writers\u2019 submissions and is on display at the PACH Gallery May 3rd\u2013June 2nd. The project also features a poster series wheatpasted in our neighborhoods<\/a> and on the streets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Home Not Home Project<\/strong> examines the complicated dichotomies of the idea of home and explores ideas of the world we want! Home Not Home investigates themes of belonging\/ not belonging, freedom\/ captivity, safety\/ danger, comfort\/ discomfort, inclusive\/ exclusive, building\/ destroying, and place\/ displacement. Home Not Home aims to demonstrate that while the concept of home is universal, the experience is very personal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the project and exhibition is a collaboration between
AnySquared Projects<\/a> and Pilsen Arts & Community House<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
