Love, Land, Deception: Deconstructing the Patriarchy (LLD) exhibition catalog. This collective exhibition that was held in collaboration with Chicago Art Department in Summer 2024. LLD aimed to portray ways in which the patriarchy affects both the land and our bodies, a relationship that is inextricable; while also allowing us to imagine futures and ways of being to exist outside of this binary narrative and structure of deception.
1000 Words: Home Not Home anthology of writing and art in a collaboration of AnySquared and Pilsen Arts & Community House.
The exhibition examined the complicated dichotomies of the idea of home and is an exploration of the world we want! Home Not Home investigated: belonging/ not belonging, freedom/ captivity, safety/ danger, comfort/ discomfort, inclusive/ exclusive, building/ destroying, and place/ displacement.
The project and exhibition featured 36 artist’s work inspired by 36 writers’ work. The project also features a poster series distributed in our neighborhoods and wheatpasted on the streets in Summer 2024.
Life in Progress Video Series showcased work that expresses definitions and/or critiques of “progress.” This series seeks to explore the concept of progress with our work, our art, in our communities, and as human beings — both in the city and the world. Through art that provokes, challenges, or illustrates progress, the series examines what is actual progress, what some consider progress, and what is not. AnySquared’s video series is part of the LIP 20/20 Arts Festival and was screened separately online early 2021.

Because Art + AnySquared Residency | Because Art exhibit presented work that revealed the discourse between the art and the artist. Through installation, painting, drawing, photography, video, sculpture and mixed media, the exhibit explored approaches and techniques of art practice and how it is shaped through the process of self-identification.
