Seeking artists that work with a digital medium that is or can be presented in a gif format or a film under 6 seconds for upcoming Gif This screening. Gifs carry social currency because of their utilization of easily identifiable images derived from mass-media and popular culture. We are interested in the visual power of the Gif. Short and concise, it is able to convey complex narratives, unique points of view, and expand ideas in mere seconds.
