“I am a creator of modern times with nomadic sensibilities. I am neither here nor there, a wanderer, a traveler of now and then. My vision is influenced by an urge to explore, discover and understand the creation and growth of the space and nature around me. The true essence of the American experience, the Human experience. I find inspiration in my observation of the community around me, stained glass windows and graffiti, particularly, with the way in which graffiti is covered and hidden by the city and the business owners. A reality recognized by the off-colored patchwork on wall space throughout any cityscape. One must look closer at these walls and at my work, to gauge a deeper understanding of whats happening. My influences are Primitive art, French expressionism, Dadaism and cubism.”
