The Butterfly Effect: Bridging Borders Exhibit

We are excited to announce, as part of Chicago Art Department’s second exhibition of the Contra Corriente Festival.

On display June 12–July 25, 2026 | The Butterfly Effect: Bridging Borders brings together artists sharing personal and communal stories of immigration, environmental displacement, and loss of land. The exhibition reflects on the ways people adapt, survive, and remain connected across borders and generations.
