Vic Vargas @vcrass shares tattoo insight and touches on the history of the art form. In the workshop, they present the do’s and don’ts of contacting a tattoo artist, tattoo etiquette, research, and tattoo preparation. They also offer guidance on how to not be afraid to reposition or speak up about your needs. Vic discusses aftercare, as well as tattoo science including immune system talk. They will also cover the process of becoming a tattoo artist and what they wish they knew!
Vic is a Chicago artist who paints, sculpts, creates with paper-mache, spray paints, experiments with makeup, and sews. Out of their love for all forms of art, they established an art discipline through tattooing. Vic has been been tattooing professionally since the summer of 2023 and practicing/working in tattoo environments since fall 2022.
