REPOST FROM @insidetheplant:
Over the past few weeks, the @bubblydynamics team has been refurbishing @manka_design‘s piece of public art “asphalt repair” at The Plant. Originally installed in 2014 as part of the SALVAGE exhibition curated by @ne2_gallerysquared and G Studio, Stephen Manka describes his work as “centered on experimenting in the public realm by taking an intuitive approach to public spaces and public art, and creating sculptures that aim to reveal a deeper meaning of that place”. Manka’s piece can be seen in full from inside The Plant on our second floor! For more information on Manka’s work, visit the link in our bio.

The Plant is located at 1400 W. 46th St. in Chicago.
